Liebster Blog Award

Thank you Hilary for the lovely nomination of my blog :)

A little about The Leibster Award:

It is given to blogs with less than 200 followers and passed from Blogger to Blogger, each hand picked by the previous recipient. (Liebster apparently means “favourite” or “dearest” in German.)

When one accepts the award they agree to:

Thank the person who gave them the award and link back to that person’s blog

Copy and paste the award to their blog

Reveal the next 5 blogs they have chosen to receive the award, commenting on their blog to break the happy news!

And lastly, hope the artists nominated will do the above and keep the award going by accepting and awarding “The Liebster Blog Award” to 5 special bloggers that they too would like to honor.

So here are my 5 blog picks:

Making Each Day Count - I'm not sure if it is against the rules to go backwards, but I have been following Hilary's blog for a few years now and I have loved following her journey from pregnancy to now raising 2 beautiful children.

Debstars blog - I have followed Debstar's blog for a few years now and I love the random things she blogs about, from movie reviews, to art galleries.

Wattle-Weedoo - I have only recently started following MistyHollow's blog, but I love seeing the work she is doing in the garden, the recently built chicken coop and the newly arrived chickens.

Watch Mummy Run - I have been following Andrea's blog for a few years now and I love following her cooking projects, sewing projects and the raising of two adorable children.

Our Vegetable Garden Project - I have recently started following Selina's blog and I love watching her vegetable gardening, the building of their ponds and their adventures in the great outdoors :)

Rooster has started crowing

I first heard one rooster, testing out his vocal cords last Sunday, this weekend he is practicing a little more. Sounds a little off cord and a little funny.

I will play it by ear to see how loud he gets and how early he starts to decide if I need to give him away.

He would of started at 12 weeks. The second rooster hasn't started yet.

Certificate II in Horticulture

Started Certificate II In Horticulture this week, two modules this semester:
-Determine Basic Properties of Soil/Growing Meduim
-Observe and Report on Weather

The soil module is very easy, but the weather module is a little more complex, just trying to get my head around how the winds work around the world.

Just writing this here for my records :)
